Jay S. Horowitz protects business owners by forming limited liability companies (LLCs) and corporations, and drafting and reviewing contracts and leases.

Mr. Horowitz meets with clients who are seeking to form a business, and recommends the type of entity that would best meet their needs. He prepares the organizational documents, such as articles of incorporation, articles of organization, by-laws, operating agreement, shareholders’ agreement, etc. that are necessary to form and operate that corporation, LLC, or other entity.

He provides numerous services to startup and small businesses in addition to business formation and incorporating. These services include drafting and review of contracts (including purchase and sale agreements), collection matters, commercial litigation, commercial leasing and landlord tenant matters, and employment law.

Mr. Horowitz also forms non-profit organizations, and helps non-profits apply for tax exempt status. Additionally, Mr. Horowitz has extensive experience in preparing business plans and provides financial, marketing, and strategic planning advice to newly formed as well as established companies.
